10 Low Calorie Healthy Snacks to Lose Weight
To lose weight you need to eat! Snacking (or grazing) throughout the day is much better for your body than pigging out at each meal or starving yourself and it will help you to lose weight. Your body needs constant fuel (the right kind of course) to stay at its optimum levels and keep your metabolism high. A high metabolism means quicker weight loss so keep your body fueled throughout the day with healthy foods and you will feel more energized and healthy.
Choose snacks that are high in fiber and/or protein. These types of foods will keep you full longer. Stay away from high fat, sugary foods (especially foods with high-fructose corn syrup), these foods will only make you sluggish and hungry again.
Here are 10 low calorie snack ideas:

1. One handful of almonds or walnuts.

2. 1/2 cup of lowfat cottage cheese with fresh fruit topping.
