Exercise and fitness enthusiasts are crazy about the Bosu ball because it is a functional piece of exercise equipment that is so easy to use. More importantly they like it because it works. Compared to elliptical machines and other exercise machines, Bosu balls are much cheaper but they’re able to give any one a good full body workout. A Bosu exercise ball has a number of options you can choose from in both full and half-ball variations. Bosu balls also give its users rotational, angular, and structural support so you can assume a variety of workout patterns. This way, your movements are varied and not redundant.
Try Working Out with a Bosu Ball
An exercise you could try would be to rest your forearm on the ball supporting your weight on your side with your legs outstretched. Either hold this position for a moment or enhance it by moving your hips up and down.
An alternative exercise might be to try what is known as the ball plank. Do the position for a push up but support your body by resting your forearms onto the Bosu ball. You can even do leg exercises on a Bosu ball by moving your legs up and down or pushing one arm up. You can also do crunches, especially if you have difficulty in doing sit ups.
